When evil King Zuul's armada enters the River Zash, Yolanta's small fleet returns heavy fire. The Amarrats manage to land their massive army despite a valiant effort by the Lantish fleet when they join the battle.
When the Amarrat army begins their inland march to attack the city state of Lanth, the young human leader of the Nanders, Arken Freeth, takes a small band of warriors to attack the Amarrat column. Arken's forces are vastly outnumbered as they bravely attack the hundred-thousand-man Amarrat army as it lumbers overland across the open plains towards the treacherous mountain pass leading to Lanth.
